Companies in Jordan take a lot of advantage in marketing when using facebook. Using facebook in marketing is providing ability to access billion of customer in short time, low cost and low effort. Also facebook is providing an opportunity of targeted advertising to target a specific type of customers according customer needs and specification. Marketing on facebook is increase company fans and visitors to company website, because you can invite anyone to visit company’s website for more details or conduct any transaction. Also facebook is provides offer to allow customer to advertising company product by tag and them friends. Marketing on facebook is providing the company ability to devise feedback from costumers maybe by number of like about special product or by customer’s comments.

ReplyDeleteMy answer is "yes", companies in Jordan can take advantage of advertising using facebook, but with some effort and a few conditions;
first of all there has to be a social networks (facebook) marketing plan, this plan should be deeply thought of, and a group of company members (IT and non IT) should contribute in it and provide their own work experience and vision, (brainstorming has to be done). This plan should be finally set up by advertising manager,approved by top management,applied accurately and continuously updated.
#2 a daily,weekly,occasionally posts,polls,follow up with customers comments and provide answers when needed is necessary.
the point is companies have to know how to increase number of likes to their pages and how to attract their target customers to like,deal with and trust You and not head to another one.
one more thing,searching why competitors in the same domain succeeded might also be useful.
Definitely, they can take advantages of advertising using Facebook, taking into consideration some conditions. That is to say, they can show their products and reply customers questions about these products without any kind of online financial payment because people in Jordan less trust online companies based on their thought that these shops are fake and do not exist. People can only trust the online companies which advertize their products, showing their features like the size, fabrics and colors concerning clothes kind of product. My answer is YES Jordan can talk advantages of facebook advertisement if they understand the technique that used in facebook advertisement and trying to utilize it in a good way, and another important point id if any institution that would like to add advertisement on facebook they should be aware for the users age statistical which shows each age group and the percentage of them that used facebook or having facebook account, for example if company x want to add there advertisement on facebook and there targeted age is men and women with age more than 60 so I think in this case adding this ads in facebook is meaningless because the percentage of people that having facebook account in this age is limited , so being aware of facebook users behavior and understanding the technique that used in facebook are the most important aspects for having benefits of facebook advertisement.

Although Facebook provided a new type of advertisement that helps the companies in making some kind of brand awareness, Facebook has a lot of Limitation regarding advertisements; as in your ads you can not mention the Sale word also you can't use direct statement like buy now or visit us this kind of limitation plays a big role when considering the use of Facebook ads to promote sales.Other type of limitation is that in the geographical targeting there is no targeting for specific city only countries.
ReplyDeleteSo in my opinion if Jordanian companies used the Facebook ads to make brand awareness they will take advantages of this kind of advertisement but if they use it for specific area or for sales advertisement they might not take the advantages of advertisement through Facebook ads.

ReplyDeleteI think, facebook is used in Jordan for social and interactive affairs. In the sense that certain people exchange pictures, messages, congratulations, participations and sending documents on facebook. On the otherhand, facebook contributes by viewing foreign advertisements which are related to shopping, or marketing. People only share these advertisements by commenting or sharing the page, etc. finally, people should be encouraged to tend on shopping or using internet to get services and goods then depend on such websites like facebook to gain these services.

Facebook spreads widely and rapidly between all Jordanians ages, which mean more time is being spent on Facebook every day and people are viewing more and more pages and profiles resulting that each share on a page or profile is increasing the visibility of the Ads. So, Facebook page it-self can be used as a marketing technique by enriching the content of the page and encourage the fans to promote the marketing entry to their friends and so on.
On the other hand, Facebook provides a great marketing tool for paid Ads that facilitate the planning process for campaigns including targeting, scheduling, and filtering.
In addition, Facebook allows individuals to start their own marketing business in many ways; one of them is posting Ads into their massively followed pages which enforce followers to see the Ad. This technique is not necessarily accurate due to the reality of the followers.
Most of the Jordanian e-newspapers use Facebook to increase the number of visitors on their website. Also, many of the political campaigns used Facebook in the past few years.
